After more than 30 years of performing and 20 years into his award-winning solo career, British guitar virtuoso, singer, and songwriter Matt Schofield continues to push the frontiers and reshape the boundaries of the British blues tradition. Schofield’s storied career has taken him to nearly 30 countries and is filled with awards: he was named British Blues Guitarist of the Year three times by the British Blues Awards, was voted by Mojo readers as having the British Blues Album of the Year in 2011, and was the first guitarist inducted into the British Blues Awards Hall of Fame. He was also named one of the top 10 British blues guitarists of all time by Guitar and Bass Magazine, putting him in the company of Peter Green and Eric Clapton.
