Hip Hop Lyric Activity and Graffiti Art Coloring Page 9:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m South El Río Find your voice through classic hip hop songs with a fill-in-the-blank activity. Discover graffiti art in the Celebrate Hip Hop program’s coloring page, designed by artists Such and Champ Styles.

Dance Workshop 11:30 a.m.–noon Event Room 2 Bust a move in this hip hop dance workshop with instructors from the Jukebox Dance Studio, led by co-directors Leah Roman and Rae Rae.
Dance and Turntablist Showcase 1:00–1:45 p.m. Main Courtyard Hip hop community mainstay Edson “Bboy House” Magaña, and Furious Styles Crew demonstrate various hip hop dance styles and talk about the origins of B-boys and B-girls, the foundational West Coast counterpart forms popping and locking, and the sounds and music manipulation of the DJ and the turntable.
Hip Hop Encounter 2:30–3:00 p.m. Event Room 2 Curious about the turntable as a musical instrument or how hip hop dance came to be? Catch this interactive presentation by Edson “Bboy House” Magaña and Lawrence “Reflekshin” Martinez of Furious Styles Crew to learn about hip hop history and more.
Performance: The Stakes 3:15 p.m. Main Courtyard Local hip hop group The Stakes—featuring a full live band behind emcees ZeeDubb and Lord Kash—perform original songs.
