Keola Beamer, Moanalani Beamer, Geoffrey Keezer, and R. Carlos Nakai

Malama Ko Aloha (Keep Your Love)

The show Malama Ko Aloha is inspired by the album of the same name, the latest from Hawai’i’s premier singer-songwriter, arranger, composer, and master of the Hawaiian slack key-guitar, Keola Beamer. The album features Beamer alongside his wife, Moanalani Beamer, a renowned hula dancer and percussionist; nine-time GRAMMY-nominated Native American flutist R. Carlos Nakai; and virtuoso jazz pianist Geoffrey Keezer.

“Keola Beamer is the best slack-key guitar player on the planet.”—Willie Nelson

“Geoffrey [Keezer] possesses a refreshingly open-eared sensibility in the modern manner, and he has more than enough virtuosity and sheer musical wit and intelligence to weave all of his apparently disparate strands of influence into an original and compelling whole.”—Time Magazine

“The haunting sound of the Native American flute is gaining more widespread appeal in recent years, and R. Carlos Nakai is the reason for it.”—Billboard Magazine

Don’t miss the “Artist in Residence Dinner” on Sunday, November 3 at the Hermosa Inn, featuring special guest Keola Beamer. The evening will feature Hawaiian music and dancers, a wine reception, salon-style fine dining, and stories and chants shared by Keola Beamer.
