Patricia L. Morris is a director in the Transportation Solutions Division (TSD) within the Internet of Things Group at Intel Corporation. She is responsible for developing market strategies, expanding partnerships between Intel and other companies, and managing communications for the division. Morris graduated from Lawrence Institute of Technology in Michigan with two bachelor of science degrees in computer systems and in marketing. She joined Intel in 2005 as the consulting sales manager in the Intel Solutions and Services group. She has been with Intel for nine years and brings considerable related experiences in the areas of software and server sales to the company. Morris has over twenty years of experience in sales management, business development, and consulting in the automotive and telecommunications industries for companies including Hewlett Packard, Amdocs, and Deloitte Consulting.
Earlier in her career, she was an attorney with Sun Microsystems, Graham and James, McCutchen Doyle Brown and Enersen, and Weil Gotshal and Manges, concentrating on intellectual property transactions and licensing. McAlpine holds a law degree from Suffolk University in Boston and a bachelor of arts in English literature from the University of Alabama. She is a member of the State Bar of California, with reciprocal rights in Arizona. Aside from serving on the advisory board of the Musical Instrument Museum, McAlpine also sits on the board of directors of the Arizona Business and Education Coalition (ABEC).
